IMC is in the news again!
We’ve talked about the benefits of working with the Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) before, but last week we had the opportunity to speak directly to the Commissioner herself. We met Catherine Smith at her keynote presentation at the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce Expo 2015. As one of the more than 1,300 companies who have participated in DECD’s Small Business Express program since it began in November, we were able to share how it impacted our continued growth at IMC.
The Record-Journal reporter Ken Liebeskind was on hand to cover the event. His article quoted us and used IMC as a case-study:
“We had six employees and increased the staff to eight, adding a director of development and engineer… We also used the funding to increase our marketing budget and the infrastructure.”
